Land Use/Driveways

Grant Valley Township has made several attempts to adopt ordinances and regulations to address land uses.  However, all attempts have been voted down.  In certain areas in Grant Valley structures are controlled by the Beltrami County Shoreline Management Ordinance and the Mississippi Headwaters Board Ordinances.  Developers and Homeowners are encouraged to check with the Beltrami County Office of Environmental Services before building or remodeling

If you are putting in a driveway you will need to install a culvert.  One driveway per parcel is allowed.  Please contact our Road Supervisor, Russell Hiltz, at
